I’m hoping that my new HD television will come its own when watching the football on tv tonight. I bought it primarily with the expectation that it would be used for the football, and was impressed by the quality in the shop. The high definition lines were clearly better than my existing set, and certainly makes a difference from watching low quality internet streams of games, which I’ve been doing more often recently. Although I didn’t go for a 3D option, with the expectation that prices will eventually go down for it, the HD comes with a surround sound package that sounded pretty impressive when set up in my living room. I don’t know whether the novelty of a flat screen HD set will wear off after a few games, but at least I’m guaranteed to have the best viewing experience. Until they bring out a new model of course, and then I might have to reconsider.

I recently upgraded to the Yamaha P155 from the Casio PX-130. It’s not even a superbly great digital piano, and it already sounds so beautiful. That’s when I began to wonder. How much better do some of the best digital pianos sound? Are they significantly better?

I Think That the Drum Lesson Cost Has Gotten a Little to out of Hand
Maybe it is just me but I think that the drum lesson cost has gotten a little to out of hand. The cost alone for these one on one lessons is simply out of control. It seems like the private instructors charge out of this world prices until noone can afford them and then there are children losing out on a part of learning because their families cannot afford them. I think this is ludicrous. And there is no room for it in my book.
That is why I was glad when I found the online drum lessons for my son to take. These are the most reasonably priced lessons I have ever found and he is actually learning from them as well.
