Surprised by the Info in a Tamron 10-24mm Review
Since I still have an older Nikon camera, I never really considered getting a wide-angle lens until I read a Tamron 10-24mm review. Much to my surprise I discovered that it has a built-in auto-focus system that is compatible with the make and model camera I am currently using. While the review did go on to say that the auto focus is not very fast, this isn’t much of an issue since wide-angle lenses are generally not used to photograph any fast moving objects. Eager to learn more, I did some research of my own and found that its maximum aperture is also not as fast as competitors are but in a price comparison, this is understandable. Some people have also reported that, when trying to make close range or nighttime photos, this lens blocks their pop-up flash but fortunately I have an external flash that is taller to combat this tendency.
