Using a New HD Television and the Football Tonight
I’m hoping that my new HD television will come its own when watching the football on tv tonight. I bought it primarily with the expectation that it would be used for the football, and was impressed by the quality in the shop. The high definition lines were clearly better than my existing set, and certainly makes a difference from watching low quality internet streams of games, which I’ve been doing more often recently. Although I didn’t go for a 3D option, with the expectation that prices will eventually go down for it, the HD comes with a surround sound package that sounded pretty impressive when set up in my living room. I don’t know whether the novelty of a flat screen HD set will wear off after a few games, but at least I’m guaranteed to have the best viewing experience. Until they bring out a new model of course, and then I might have to reconsider.
